Hey there! I’m back with one of my absolute go-to recipes — fun, healthy, and ready in just 15 minutes!

So, today we’re making Rice Paper Rolls

This is my ultimate lifesaver on days when I have no idea what to cook. It’s quick, fuss-free, and perfect for those hot summer days when you just can’t spend hours in the kitchen. Trust me, once you try it, it’ll be your regular too!

Rice paper is a thin, translucent sheet made of rice flour, Tapioca starch, water and salt. It is a great addition to your diet as it is healthy and low in fat and calories.

Ingredients

  1. Rice paper sheets
  2. Water ( to soak the paper in)
  3. Vegetables :
    • lettuce
    • red and yellow bell peppers
    • green capsicum
    • carrot
    • beetroot(optional)
  4. Sauces :
    • Southwest Chipotle Sauce or Mayonnaise
    • Schezwan Sauce or Red Chilli Sauce
  5. Spices :
    • Salt
    • Black Pepper
    • Oregano
    • Chilli Flakes
  6. Oil (for sautéing)

Let’s get started with the recipe.

How To-

Step 1: Prepare the filling

  • Start by slicing all vegetables ( except lettuce) into long and thin stripes.
  • Heat some Oil in a pan and add chilli flakes and oregano to it.
  • Add the sliced vegetables and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are cooked.
  • Season with salt and black pepper as per taste.

Step 2: Prepare the sauce

  • Mix 2 parts of Southwest chipotle sauce or mayonnaise with 1 part of scheswan sauce or red chilli sauce.
  • Adjust the quantity depending on how spicy you want it.

Step 3: Prepare the Roll

  • Soak 1 sheet of rice paper in water for 10-15 secs.
  • Lay it flat on a plate or board.
  • Put a piece of lettuce in the centre, add a spoonful of the the sauce mix we prepared above it, then layer on a small quantity of the sautéed vegetables.
  • Fold in the sides and roll it up like a burrito — gently but tightly.

Optional Step 4 : Eat it Cold or Toast it Warm

You can enjoy the roll as-is or, heat a little oil on a tawa( flat pan) and lightly toast the roll on all sides for a warm, crispy version.
Both ways are delicious — just depends on your mood.

And that’s a wrap-literally!

This wrap is my go-to for when I want to have vegetables but also want them to be tasty. Trust me, once you try it — you’ll keep coming back to it again and again.

So, if you do give it a try, drop in a comment below to tell me how you liked it- it would truly make my day.🌟

Until next time,

Happy Rolling!
